A flag meant to represent men loving men and nonbinary loving men whose attraction to men is gay in the sense that their attraction is similar to, resembles that of, or is that of a man who loves men. This flag is not restricted to people who exclusively love men, mspec people are included. It was created by @libragender on tumblr.com.
The first stripe, violet, represents community and friendship. Purple represents love, and gay asexuals, because (according to the creator), "Purple is commonly used in asexual flags, so this stripe highlights gay asexuals in addition to love." Cream represents diversity in gender, and gender expression including gender non-conforming, transgender, and nonbinary gay people. Seafoam green represents attraction to men, and connections to manhood. The creator notes that they are "...referring to not only binary gay men but non-binary gays–be them partially men, male-aligned, or otherwise connected to manhood in some way (e.g. through their attraction to men)." Green represents sexuality, sensuality, and aromantic gay people, because (according to the creator), "Green is commonly used in aromantic flags, so this stripe highlights aromantic gays in addition to sexuality and sensuality." Brown represents gay people of color, diversity, and intersectionality.
The name of the flag comes from the name of the flower (the blue larkspur, or Delphinium ajacis) in the myth of Hyakinthos.
